I’m David. Born a long time ago. Raised by a military man (Army) and a country gal turned wife and mother. Mom was one of 13 kids raised in a 2 bedroom house built by hand by my Grandfather. Dad was one of 4 kids raised without a Father from the time he was 9. Wonderful parents. Wonderful childhood despite the bumps, bruises, cuts, and arguments.

These days I’m:

Son to my mom Bernice.
Brother to 2 brothers (Jay and Denis) and 2 sisters (Karen and Moira (aka Muffin)).
Husband to one woman (Kathy) for 23ish years.
Dad to four boys. Brian-19, Kevin-17, Dustin-15, and Colin-5.
Uncle to 12.
Nephew to 15.
Cousin to more than I can count.
Friend to many.

The pic is me holding a sign to ‘Tiny’s of Maui’, a Hawaiian food restaurant I started on Maui with the help of two Hawaiian bruddahs, Boy and Pani. The picture behind is of my Hawaiian father, Tiny, who the restaurant was named after. Sadly, the restaurant and my dreams for it failed, but while we were open we were quite popular with the locals and tourists looking for authentic Hawaiian food.

It was but one adventure.
